Position Overview
The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for supporting daily landscape maintenance projects under the direction of the Crew Leader. This role involves performing a variety of physical, hands-on tasks to ensure properties are maintained and enhanced to company standards. Responsibilities include operating landscape equipment such as commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools safely and efficiently, as well as assisting with installation work like planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, and constructing segmented walls.
Job Description
- Perform landscape management duties as directed by the Crew Leader.
- Safely operate landscape equipment such as commercial mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, driving a truck with trailer, skid steers, as well as any other equipment necessary to perform daily tasks.
- Duties include but are not limited to: digging holes, planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, mowing, etc.
- Snow and Ice removal.
- Typical Hours 40-50 per week Monday-Friday (some Saturday work will be required)
Job Requirements
- Three years minimum practical experience with a solid work history in the green or similar industries.
- Ability to work in a variety of climate conditions, including snow during the snow season.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Pass a DOT physical
