Overview
We are looking for an experienced landscape/farm helper for a 1,200 acre estate. This position requires someone who can operate equipment in a safe manor and doesn’t need supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation setup to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, skid steers, excavators, zero turn mowers and other farm machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with farming activities like planting, harvesting, watering, fertilizing, and crop rotation to support growth cycles
- Provide animal care including feeding, grooming, handling a registered cattle herd and ensuring their well-being
- Conduct equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, or mechanical knowledge to maintain operational readiness
Qualifications
- Familiarity with farm machinery repair, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with animal husbandry and handling livestock or equine animals
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as farm machinery safely
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and long periods of outdoor activity
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
