Landscape Laborer Jobs in Cazenovia at MDM Landscaping LLC
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Laborer to join our lawn care team. This position requires prior commercial lawn maintenance experience, with a strong emphasis on operating zero-turn mowers and other professional landscaping equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial-grade zero-turn mowers to mow and maintain lawns
- Trim grass and edges using string trimmers and hedge trimmers
- Use backpack blowers to clear debris and maintain clean properties
- Drive a truck with a utility trailer to and from job sites
- Perform general landscape maintenance, including raking leaves and debris removal
- Safely handle, maintain, and store all equipment and tools
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience required
- Experience with commercial lawn mowing equipment, especially zero-turn mowers
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a truck with a trailer
- At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable daily transportation to and from work
Compensation:
- Pay is based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
