Altera Landscaping is looking for a dependable, hardworking full-time Landscape Technician to join our team.
We’re looking for someone with previous landscaping experience who takes pride in producing quality work, shows up every day ready to work, and wants to grow with a professional company.
Our work includes much more than basic lawn maintenance. Every week is different and may include lawn maintenance, landscape enhancements, mulch installation, plant installation, property cleanups, pressure washing, and other outdoor improvement projects.

Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, edging, trimming and blowing
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Property cleanups
- Mulch installation
- Plant installation and landscape enhancement projects
- Assist with sod installation and other landscape projects
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Assist with pressure washing projects
- Maintain a clean, organized work truck and trailer
- Help ensure every property meets our quality standards
Requirements
- Previous landscaping experience required
- Experience operating commercial mowers, trimmers, edgers and blowers
- Reliable transportation to the first job site each morning (employee will then ride in a company vehicle between job sites)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Professional appearance and respectful attitude when interacting with customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving pickup trucks and towing trailers
- English and/or Spanish (basic English communication required)
- Experience with plant installation, hedge trimming, mulch installation, sod installation and property cleanups
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time W-2 position
