Housekeeper/Laundry Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met at all times.
Responsibilities:
– Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
– Launder and fold linens, towels, and other items as needed.
– Perform dry cleaning tasks as required.
– Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained.
– Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
– Adhere to health and safety standards to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
– Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Skills:
– Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles.
– Knowledge of laundry procedures and techniques.
– Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
