We’re looking for an experienced Lead Painter who is ready to lead a small crew, deliver exceptional results, and grow with our company. This is a full-time, year-round position working on a variety of residential, commercial, and new construction projects.

What You’ll Do
As a Lead Painter, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality work while leading your crew safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, organize, and motivate your assigned crew
- Assign daily tasks and mentor team members to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, masking, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, and finishes using airless sprayers, brushes, and rollers
- Complete drywall repairs, caulking, and other minor repairs as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and project managers
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of professional painting experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to safely and confidently work from ladders up to 40 feet
Highly Preferred:
- Previous crew lead or foreman experience
- Experience with airless spraying
- Experience with staining and fine finish work
- Cabinet finishing experience
- Excellent cutting-in skills and attention to detail
Where You’ll Work
Most projects are located in Bozeman and Belgrade, with occasional work in the surrounding Gallatin Valley.
