Lead Propane Installer Jobs in Brooklyn, CT at Hometown Heating
Hometown Heating, a division of Santoro Oil, is seeking a Lead Propane Installer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Install and connect propane-powered HVAC systems, furnaces, boilers, generators, fireplaces, and appliances
- Install propane tanks, gas lines, regulators, and related propane equipment
- Perform gas pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections
- Lead and supervise installation crews on job sites
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal safety codes
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, project managers, and customers
- Train and mentor junior installers and helpers
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and inventory
- Complete service reports and installation documentation
- Respond to troubleshooting and emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of propane, gas piping, or HVAC installation experience
- Prior leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
- Knowledge of propane systems, HVAC equipment, and gas codes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions
- CT “G” or “S” license, required
