Newman Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced and reliable Stucco and Drywall Installer who takes pride in their work for our Carlsbad and Orange locations.
Job Details:
- Must have experience with removal and installation of stucco and plastering.
- Must have experience with removal and installation of drywall.
- Experience with wood repair and finish preferred
- Must feel comfortable communicating clearly with our customers.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot variations of stucco.
Job Requirements:
- Must be comfortable to climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and a pre-employment physical.
- Demonstrate safety and superior cleanliness on-site.
- Professional attitude.
- Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with potential Saturday and overtime work.
- Freedom to use your own tools.
- Must have 2 years experience
Responsibilities
- Lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately execute installation plans.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for specific projects.
- Execute trim carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Lay tile according to design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
- Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material requirements.
- Train and mentor junior installers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
