Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Esthetician to join our growing medical aesthetics clinic in Northern Virginia. This position combines esthetic services and front desk support and is ideal for someone who enjoys both skincare treatments and patient interaction.
Our clinic is currently opening in Reston, VA, but the first few weeks/months would require commuting to our office in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, and excited to help build a new aesthetics practice from the ground up.
Newly licensed estheticians are strongly encouraged to apply.
Esthetician Responsibilities
- Perform professional skincare treatments including:
- Facials
- Chemical peels
- Skin analysis and consultations
- Other licensed esthetic treatments
- Educate clients on skincare routines and post-treatment care
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Follow Virginia State Board of Cosmetology regulations
- Work collaboratively with nurses, providers, and clinic staff
- Document treatments and client information appropriately
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Greet clients and provide a welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage clinic calendars
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with intake forms and patient documentation
- Process payments and support retail skincare sales
- Help maintain an organized and professional reception area
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Esthetician License (Required)
- Strong interest in medical aesthetics and skincare
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask between clinical treatments and reception duties
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support clinic operations
- Ability to commute to Sterling and eventually Reston (permanent placement would be Reston, VA)
- Experience in medical spa, dermatology, or aesthetics clinic
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with chemical peels and advanced facial treatments
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Esthetician License (Preferred)
