Pediatric and Adult’s with disabilities RN will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Duties:
– Perform physical examinations and health assessments
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
– Monitor and record patient vital signs
– Assist in medical procedures such as ventilating or dialyzing patients
– Utilize electronic health record systems like Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following HIPAA guidelines
– Provide acute pain management interventions
– Practice aseptic techniques to prevent infections
Qualifications:
– State licensure as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse
– Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
– Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
– Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
– Experience in physical examinations and patient assessment
– Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
– Ability to dialyze patients when required
– Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
