Job Summary
Join our culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing, a new menu with a team of other line cooks that involves high-quality ingredients, assisting in menu execution, and ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist with cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, baking, and plating under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen manager
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste
- Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of menu items efficiently and accurately
- Includes cleaning and dishwashing
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on quality and safety
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential
- Experience in food industry settings such as kitchens, restaurants, or catering environments preferred
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to walk up stairs
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new culinary skills

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
