ARCO Lock & Security is a well-established locksmith and security systems company serving commercial and residential customers throughout Utah. We are currently hiring an experienced Locksmith or Security Systems Technician to join our growing team in Provo, Utah.
Seeking experienced locksmith or security systems technician with experience in locksmith services, repair/replacement of door hardware, security systems, including access control, burglar alarm, or video surveillance systems. Seeking someone that is customer-focused, presentable, reliable, and available between MON-FRI 8AM-5PM.
This position consists of performing locksmith services for homeowners and commercial customers. Also includes offering security systems and helping install security systems, commercial access control, alarm, and video surveillance systems. Additional commissions can be earned for bringing on new customers, selling security installations to existing customers, and occasional after hours emergency jobs. Cross-training will be provided as needed, but some experience is required in either locksmithing, door hardware, access control, alarm systems, or commercial security systems. Additional responsibilities include the following:
Install, repair, rekey, and service mechanical, electronic, and high-security locks
- Cut and duplicate keys, including master key systems
- Perform emergency lockout services for homes, vehicles, and businesses
- Install and maintain door hardware, panic bars, door closers, and access control systems
- Troubleshoot and install basic security systems (alarms, cameras, card access)
- Diagnose security issues and provide customers with professional recommendations
- Complete detailed service reports, invoices, and key tracking documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions
Experience Requirements: (some experience below required)
- Locksmithing
- Door Hardware Installation
- Card Access Control Installation
- Alarm hardwire to wireless takeovers
- Rekeying locksmith service
- 2GIG, Qolsys, Alarm.com alarm installations
- Commercial Locksmithing
- Video Surveillance Installation
- Sales – Locksmith or Security Systems
