Position Summary:

Logistics & Import/Export Assistant: Provides hands-on operational and administrative support for U.S.-bound import/export compliance execution and cross-border logistics across Jaya Apparel Group sourcing and consulting business lines. This role focuses on preparing trad documentation, handling client communications, and supporting compliance-oriented consulting deliverables. The assistant will work daily with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL/warehouses, and internal team members to ensure smooth operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and handle trade and shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, B/L) to ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations.
  • Handle daily client communications and respond to inquiries regarding shipment status and logistics schedules.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
  • Support compliance-oriented consulting projects by gathering data, organizing reference materials, and assisting with deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with basic import/export terminology and documentation.
  • Experienced in U.S. customs clearance (CBP), cross-border logistics, and FDA compliance.
  • 1- 2 years’ experience.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
