Are you an organized, detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced international supply chain environment?
Our client, a highly respected global wine and spirits company, is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to join their Supply Chain Operations team the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing the international movement of premium wine and spirits products across a global distribution network.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating international shipments and ocean freight
• Managing inbound and outbound logistics activities
• Working closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL partners
• Preparing import/export and shipping documentation
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with warehouse teams on inventory, receiving, and fulfillment activities
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's degree required
✔ 2+ years of logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience
✔ International shipping and ocean freight experience required
✔ Strong understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management
✔ Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office
✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
