About the Job
Barrelhead Building Supply is looking for a back yard hand to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a love for helping people. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.
Responsibilities:
- Rig and secure materials for transportation.
- Operate Forklifts.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
- Move materials within the warehouse or yard using appropriate equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Help customers with a positive attitude.
Desired Experience and Education
- Previous experience required in hardware and building materials.
- Previous experience working in a retail environment preferred but not required. We will train the right individual in our South Beach, OR location.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various tools and equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
