Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time & Every 4th Weekend)

Clifton Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position working 24–32 hours and every 4th weekend, providing support to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility.
- Assist with preventative maintenance projects and work orders.
- Address plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repair needs as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Support the Maintenance Director with special projects and regulatory compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required; nursing home or healthcare facility experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing a safe environment for residents and staff.
Schedule & Compensation:
- 24–32 hours every 4th weekend
- Pay starts at $17.00/hour or higher, based on experience
