Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for handling customer service needs such as, TV installs, paint, furniture assembly and other handyman needs. Your expertise will ensure that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. Duties.
- TV mounting installs, furniture assembly, picture hanging& Paint patch repair.
- Conduct residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and upkeep.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident or client repair requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within residential or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and general repairs.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in automation or manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
