As part of the Sun Canadian Pipeline Leadership team, the Manager Maintenance, is accountable for planning and directing all maintenance activities to ensure that work is conducted in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Responsible for installation and maintenance of equipment at pump stations and delivery terminals; and the coordination, development, and implementation of the Company's Oil Spill Emergency Response Program.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for the performance of Maintenance group staff which includes Sarnia & London Area Coordinators, Technologists and Pipeline Maintenance Technicians to ensure 24/7 operation of the Pipeline System
- Oversee Pipeline Maintenance and project activities including addressing regulatory and safety issues
- Develop forecasts and manage budgets. Accountable for Maintenance Long Range Plan and Budget
- Act as the key Maintenance, Reliability and Emergency Response resource
- Accountable for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS-ePAC) including all policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and maintenance training
- Accountable for on-going reliability of Pipeline System
- Accountable for company Public Awareness Program
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering capacity in a manufacturing industry
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role
- Must hold a recognized Technical College Diploma in an Engineering discipline
- Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) and be eligible for Professional Registration as PEO would be an asset
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in Emergency Response Management
- Experience in leadership roles
- Experience in Pipeline Maintenance
- Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Familiarity with application of different maintenance strategies such as Run-to-Failure, condition based maintenance (CBM) , predictive maintenance (PdM) and preventative maintenance (PM) programs
