The Role
• Manage a portfolio of high-risk borrowing accounts to minimize the organization's loss exposure and manage risks.
• Advise stakeholders on complex credit risk transactions and appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Make credit decisions and recommendations in line with established principles and policies.
• Monitor and analyze the financial and risk performance of the account portfolio, providing insights for improvement.
• Stay informed about economic and market developments impacting the portfolio to guide decision-making and policy.
• Support strategic initiatives by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Need
• Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree, or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated credit qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
• In-depth understanding of banking products, services, and credit portfolio management policies.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and relevant regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability in data-driven decision making.
