Following a recent acquisition, the organization is expanding its direct-to-consumer and specialty product capabilities through a fast-growing business known for innovative, safety and trauma-care products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, product-led environment where marketing, operations, analytics, pricing, and product data all play a critical role in supporting scalable growth across retail, ecommerce, and specialty channels.
Position Summary
The Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager is a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on role responsible for bridging marketing, product management, finance, and operations. This individual will own pricing strategy execution, product data governance, and marketing project management while supporting tactical day-to-day needs such as quoting, product setup, and launch support.
This role is critical in bringing structure, discipline, and data-driven decision-making to marketing and product processes, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and scalable growth across channels.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing, Profitability & Financial Modeling
- Develop, maintain, and optimize pricing models for new and existing products
- Analyze gross margin and profitability by product, customer, and channel
- Support sales and marketing with pricing recommendations, including deviated and custom pricing
- Maintain pricing master files and ensure alignment across systems
Product Data Management & Governance
- Own product setup and maintenance processes (add/change/delete) within ERP systems
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product master data, BOMs, and cost structures
- Partner with supply chain and operations to ensure product setup supports profitability
New Product Development & Launch Support
- Support product launches as the operational partner to the Product Director
- Provide support in sourcing, BOM cost development, and BOM cost accuracy
- Support pricing analysis to ensure products are positioned appropriately to the market
- Create and manage CNs (Change Notices) for new products and product changes
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure launch-related setup information is accurate and complete
- Help drive operational readiness through strong execution, follow-up, and detail management
Marketing & Commercial Project Management
- Lead and manage cross-functional marketing and product initiatives
- Build project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure accountability
- Utilize tools such as Monday.com to support project organization and visibility
- Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and help keep initiatives on track
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Translate complex data into actionable insights
- Develop reporting on product performance, pricing, and margin trends
- Conduct competitive analysis and market pricing research
- Support strategic decision-making with data-backed recommendations
Tactical Execution & Business Support
- Support day-to-day quote requests and custom product configurations
- Act as a key point of contact for product and pricing-related inquiries
- Assist with product setup, documentation, and launch deliverables
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 4–7+ years in product operations, pricing, marketing operations, business analytics, commercial operations, or a related field within a product-based business.
- Experience in a product-based business environment preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel expertise required, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and product data management. Hands-on experience with SKU setup, product master data, BOMs, cost structures, and pricing files preferred.
- Experience with project management tools; Monday.com preferred
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
