Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a background in masonry or construction work and be proficient in various construction techniques. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively on a construction site. The Mason will be responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, stone, and concrete.
Duties
- Construct and repair walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stones.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks as needed.
- Execute concrete forming and pouring for various projects.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures.
- Lay tiles for flooring or wall surfaces with precision.
- Utilize hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing techniques.
- Experience with concrete forming and installation processes.
- Ability to perform caulking tasks accurately to ensure proper sealing.
- Skilled in tile laying with an eye for detail and design.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in masonry work.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques for wall finishes.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus.
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
