Materials Associate
We are looking for a Materials Associate to join the Grand Valley Surgical Center Team! This is a great opportunity to work in a multispecialty surgery center focusing on the needs of patients; providing quality care and services. Grand Valley Surgical Center has a dynamic team! No nights, No weekends & No call!
This position is responsible for assisting with the functions of the Materials Department. Our successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Materials Manager in a variety of materials functions including compliance with regulatory agencies including AAAHC & CMS.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Receive, Package and ship incoming & outgoing parcels and process appropriate forms.
- Document receipt of inventory items electronically, follow-up on open purchase orders and vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory control; ensure accuracy of data in purchasing computer system.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
The Materials Associate must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Related experience in materials management preferred. Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Office. Knowledge of surgical supplies and equipment. He/she must be able to multitask while also maintaining close attention to detail. He/she must be able to work well independently, as well as a part of a team.
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
