Mechanic / Fabricator Jobs in Phoenix at Quality Equipment & Spray

About Us

We’re a fast-growing e-commerce company serving the golf course, landscape, and pest control industries — selling, building, and repairing professional spray equipment. With over 1,300 five-star reviews, we take pride in what we build and who we hire.

The Role

This is a hands-on fabrication and assembly position — not entry level. You’ll be the experienced person in the shop, building professional-grade spray rigs from the ground up using raw materials and quality components. If you know your way around a MIG welder, can route fluid hoses cleanly, and take pride in a well-built machine, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fabricating spray rig frames and assemblies from raw steel stock
  • Installing and plumbing fluid pumps, tanks, hoses, and fittings
  • Running 12-volt electrical systems (switches, solenoids, wiring)
  • MIG welding structural and finish components
  • Working with small engines and PTO-driven equipment
  • Reading shop drawings and parts diagrams
  • Operating shop equipment: metal saw, drill press, grinders, and hand/air tools
  • Keeping your work area clean and organized

What We’re Looking For

Technical:

  • Solid MIG welding experience (this is a must)
  • Hands-on fabrication with steel — measuring, cutting, fitting, finishing
  • Familiarity with fluid systems: pumps, hoses, fittings, etc.
  • 12-volt electrical experience
  • Small engine or mechanical equipment experience
  • Ability to read drawings and parts diagrams

Personal:

  • Reliable — on time, every day, no excuses
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication; able to take and give direction
  • Takes ownership of your work and your tools
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to lift 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22–$25/hr depending on experience
  • Paid vacation and paid holidays
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Employee discount
  • Professional development support
  • No weekends
  • Real room for advancement — great performers move up and earn more

A Few Other Details

  • Steel-toed shoes required
  • You don’t need to bring your own tools
  • Clean driving record is a plus
  • All backgrounds considered — people with a criminal record are welcome to apply
