Medical Assistant
Duties:
– Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records
– Take and record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
– Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and examinations
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
– Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests
– Provide basic life support in emergency situations
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
– Educate patients on proper self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication administration
Experience:
– Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
– Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures
– Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
– Familiarity with basic life support techniques
– Experience in providing patient care and assisting with medical procedures
Skills:
– Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
– Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements
– Knowledge of coding procedures for accurate documentation and billing purposes
– Ability to administer medications safely and effectively
– Familiarity with basic life support techniques in emergency situations
– Excellent patient care skills, including empathy and effective communication
