Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision.
- Assist with clinical procedures, referrals, prior authorizations, triage, injections, venipunctures, labs testing,
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating medical records promptly.
- Conduct basic life support (BLS) in emergency situations to stabilize patients until further care is available.
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring compliance with protocols.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of primary/urgent care and/or Internal Medicine.
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to assist with various clinical procedures effectively.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding for accurate billing and record keeping.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse patient populations.
- Experience working in Primary Care and Urgent Care Setting
- Ability to assist with medication administration safely, triage, referrals, prior authorizations, EKGs, Lab test, Ear Irrigations, phone messages, refill request, and any other clinical need.
