We need a team player that can handle high volume calls and transfer faxes in our EMR to appropriate location. Patience, empathy and attention to detail are a must.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, be a quick learner, enjoy multi-tasking and staying organized, be flexible, and understand the importance of a positive, courteous and a professional attitude in the workplace. Great attention to detail and clear communication with patients are essential.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Documenting phone calls for medication refills, scheduling new and established patient visits over the phone.
- Obtaining eligibility and checking for referrals over the phone to schedule new and established patient appointments
- Documenting messages for providers from patients
- Scanning and e-faxing medical records and tests into patients charts
- Uses customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly

Pay: $16.50 – $19.00 per hour
