About The Role

We're looking for experienced Medical Science Liaisons and medical affairs professionals to help train and evaluate AI systems designed for life-science and clinical applications. Your scientific expertise will directly shape how AI understands, interprets, and communicates complex biomedical information — making a real impact on the future of healthcare AI.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role ideal for MSLs, clinical educators, and scientific advisors who want to contribute their expertise beyond traditional field work.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical and biomedical content for scientific accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness for healthcare professional audiences
  • Validate that complex clinical trial data, safety information, and medical evidence are accurately represented in AI outputs
  • Develop and assess scientific communication strategies grounded in real-world medical evidence and HCP engagement experience
  • Identify errors, gaps, or misleading content in AI-generated medical narratives and suggest evidence-based improvements
  • Provide structured feedback using standardized evaluation frameworks to continuously improve AI model quality
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Background in medical affairs, clinical research, or scientific communications with direct HCP engagement experience
  • Strong ability to interpret clinical publications, trial data, and regulatory materials
  • Experience in a field-based or externally facing medical role — MSL, clinical educator, medical advisor, or similar
  • Comfortable evaluating scientific content for both technical accuracy and communicative effectiveness
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or AI quality review
  • Familiarity with medical affairs workflows across therapeutic areas
  • Advanced degree in a life-science or clinical discipline (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent)

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects at the intersection of life sciences and artificial intelligence
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, as much or as little as suits you
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with global experts
  • Contribute to meaningful work that helps AI get medicine right
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
