Position: Mental Health Professional- Admin (#021935) Broad River Secure Facility, Columbia (RICHLAND) Level 3
- Provides and documents clinical supervision to subordinate staff qualified mental health professionals and mental health officers.
- Ensures clinical services are provided in accordance with SCDC policy.
- Provides and documents administrative supervision to subordinate qualified mental health professionals and administrative assistants.
- Provides mental health services in conjunction with subordinate staff for inmates in SMHU.
- Maintains accurate and complete clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Provides oversight and monitoring of all crisis intervention activities in assigned area to ensure services are provided in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Ensures after hours coverage for crisis intervention and participates in on-call rotation.
- Ensures facilitation of and participates in treatment team and regularly scheduled staff meetings and other scheduled meetings as needed.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum Requirements
A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.

Minimum Requirements
- A master’s degree in clinical social work, counseling, or related degree and four (4) years of experience in counseling.
- Must be licensed as an LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, LISW, or LMFT or higher.
- Have comparable out of state licensure with eligibility for SCLLR license which must be obtained within 6 months.
Additional
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Prefer LPC, LPC-S, LISW-CP, LISW-CP-S, LMFT, or LMFT-S license.
