Duties
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each pet’s breed and individual needs
- Handle dogs with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming sessions
- Restrain animals safely using proper animal handling techniques and equipment to facilitate grooming procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including grooming tools and equipment after each appointment
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, health considerations, and aftercare instructions
- Manage scheduling efficiently to ensure timely service delivery across multiple locations
- Assist with pet training or behavioral guidance as needed to improve grooming experiences
Experience
- Proven experience in pet grooming, at least 2 years
- Strong customer service skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners
- Clean Background check
- Clean driving record
- Be able to work independently while still being a team member
Shift
- Thursday thru Sunday
- Two openings, one in Tyler and one in Longview
- Commission based pay
Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
