Our Aides play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). This is a full-time position which works alongside trained Montessori Teachers (as part of a teaching team) to deliver on our mission to develop a lifelong love of learning in our students. Candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Aide Responsibilities
- Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
- Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
- Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
- Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
