Duties
- Lead and supervise mowing crews to complete landscape maintenance projects efficiently and to high standards
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure timely completion of work
- Conduct quality checks on mowing, trimming, edging, and other lawn care activities to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations, including proper use of equipment and tools
- Coordinate with clients or site managers to understand project requirements and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Support crew training on landscaping best practices, safety procedures, and customer service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or lawn care with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, gardening techniques, and general maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape projects is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
