  • Required to provide guidance and support to families during high-stress situations, offering clear communication and emotional support for parents of critically ill newborns.
  • Intubation, chest tube placement, placement of central lines, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators, and iNO.
  • EMR:
    Cerner
  • Support Staff: RNs 2, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 2

Requirements:

  • Michigan License:
    Required
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics – Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine:
    Required
  • PALS/NPR:
    Required
  • Credentialing: 60 days
