Summary:
The office clerk performs a variety of administrative functions in the plant office in the support of manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support for plant office operations, including phones, inquiries, and staff support.

Coordinate production activities by maintaining schedules, work orders, and ERP system updates; communicate changes and priorities.

Maintain accurate production, inventory, and compliance records; ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.

Perform data entry and generate reports on production, labor, materials, and shipping activity.

Support inventory, materials, and shipping processes, including documentation and coordination with internal teams.

Serve as a liaison between production, logistics, quality, and administrative functions to support daily operations.

Assist with office systems (ERP/SAP, timekeeping, Microsoft Office) and general clerical duties.

Support safety and environmental programs by maintaining records and reporting concerns.

Acquiresknowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.

Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safetytraining.

All other duties as assigned.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $21 – $26.75 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications: (Education, Years of Experience, Certifications)

HS Diploma or equivalent; and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to learn and use appropriate software applications which include but is not limited to Excel, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) software, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge:

Basic manufacturing operations, including production, scheduling, inventory, and reporting

Safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in a plant setting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP, and timekeeping systems

Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders

Strong organization, time management, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment

Basic math and analytical skills for reporting and reconciliation

Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs

Maintain accurate, audit-ready records

Work Ability Requirements:
Work effectively in a plant office environment with frequent exposure to production areas, including occasional exposure to wet, cold, noisy, and food processing conditions.

Safely perform job duties while exposed to typical plant conditions, including moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and moderate to high noise levels.

Meet physical demands of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods; using hands for routine computer and clerical tasks; and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrate effective communication, comprehension, and decision-making skills, including reading, writing, basic math, and interpersonal interaction.

Maintain attention to detail, exercise independent judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing production schedules and operational needs.
