**About the Clinic**We are a brand new, physician-owned clinic launching in Northeast El Paso — combining urgent care and outpatient psychiatric/behavioral health services under one roof. We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Practice Manager who thrives on building systems, processes, and teams from scratch — someone who is energized by the challenge of opening a new practice, not just running one.—
**Role Summary**As our founding Practice Manager, you will be instrumental in launching and operationalizing this clinic. From credentialing and payer enrollment to hiring our first staff members and setting up workflows, you will lay the operational foundation for everything we do. This is not a maintenance role — it’s a builder role, with real ownership and room to grow as the practice grows.—
**Key Responsibilities**- Pre-launch: Assist with clinic setup, equipment procurement, vendor contracts, and facility readiness- Lead provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and contracting with insurance networks- Build out clinic policies, procedures, and operational workflows from the ground up- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train the initial clinical and administrative team- Select and implement EMR/EHR and practice management software- Oversee day-to-day operations across both urgent care and behavioral health service lines post-launch- Manage billing, coding, and revenue cycle — working closely with billing team or external billing service- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, DEA, and all applicable state and federal regulations- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and staffing ratios as volume grows- Analyze KPIs and operational data to optimize performance and support growth- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical staff and physician ownership- Support marketing, community outreach, and patient acquisition efforts—
**Qualifications**- 3+ years of medical practice management experience- Experience in urgent care, primary care, or behavioral health preferred- Strong knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle- Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms (Athena, eCW, or similar a plus)- Proven team leadership and HR management skills- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare compliance regulations- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dual-specialty environment—
