About the Role

The Operations and Process Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily operational activities and driving improvements in data accuracy and workflow efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this position is essential for maintaining reliable member data and ensuring smooth execution of service requests. The role contributes to the organization's effectiveness by identifying issues, recommending process enhancements, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness of CRM data
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies promptly
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for assigned operational workflows
  • Track, monitor, and report on operational metrics and workflow performance
  • Analyze trends to identify insights and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Operations, Agent Support, and Member Care teams on processes and priorities
  • Communicate workflow status, data issues, and process updates clearly
  • Conduct regular audits of operational workflows and member data
  • Manage assigned weekly and daily workflows, maintain documentation, and recommend enhancements
  • Support department initiatives, special projects, and process improvements
  • Assist with testing, documenting, and implementing process or system updates

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an operations-related role, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills for cross-team collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism with sensitive financial information
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
