Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while handling various products.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Utilize management systems to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain organization within the store by ensuring products are stored in designated locations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with management systems or inventory software is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
