Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced P6 Construction Scheduler to support large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 and possess a strong understanding of contract requirements, construction sequencing, schedule specifications, and project controls.

This individual must be capable of reviewing project contracts, specifications, and scheduling requirements prior to schedule development to ensure compliance with owner and contractual obligations. Strong knowledge of critical path methodology (CPM) and infrastructure construction practices is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Review project contracts, specifications, and scheduling requirements
  • Interpret contractual milestones, completion requirements, owner deliverables, and schedule specifications.
  • Establish logic-driven CPM schedules for all phases of construction.
  • Analyze critical path activities, float consumption, schedule impacts, and project risks.
  • Coordinate schedule development with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates.
  • Monitor project progress and incorporate field productivity data into schedule forecasts.
  • Perform schedule variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support change management, delay analysis, and time impact analysis efforts.
  • Generate schedule reports, executive summaries, and project dashboards for leadership and clients.
  • Ensure schedules align with contractual requirements, project execution plans, procurement schedules, and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule risks and mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred OR 5+ years of construction scheduling experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
  • Experience developing and managing baseline schedules from project inception through completion.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction contracts, specifications, and scheduling requirements.
  • Experience with schedule updates, progress tracking, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, utility, industrial, transportation, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with schedule delay analysis and claims support.
  • Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and project controls principles.
  • Experience working with EPC, design-build, or CMAR delivery methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, or related reporting tools.
