Packaging Operator

Responsible for monitoring and conducting quality checks to ensure quality product is packed and customers are happy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You closely monitor the line and stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and clear machine jams.

• You replenish the supplies necessary to keep the line running in a timely manner to prevent downtime —this includes stocking conveyors or hoppers with containers, lids boxes or labels.

• You make adjustments to equipment during production to optimize efficiency.

• You perform various cleaning tasks as assigned.

• You maintain quality records accurately and conduct quality inspections consistently.

• You work in all areas of the plant, to get the job done.

TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• You have high attention to detail and are able to catch the slightest errors or non-conformities.

• You have effective listening and troubleshooting skills.

• You can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining neatness, thoroughness, accuracy and focus.

• You are physically able to grab, lift and move product and equipment.
