We’re looking to fill 2 positions, with opportunity to advance.
1. Painting Lead
2. Painting Foreman
Position 1 – Painting Lead: As a Painting Lead, you will oversee all aspects of residential painting jobs, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional craftsmanship. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve outstanding results while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.
Painting Lead Duties:
- Perform all painting tasks from surface prep, painting, sealing and project clean-up.
- Manage Your Team – overseeing all aspects of painting, surface prep and clean-up
- Lead your team in a positive manner
- Ensure work is performed to Sapphire Coatings high standards
- Lead with a positive attitude
- Learn with a positive attitude and willingness to gain more / new skills
- Listen to and work well with the Foreman – making sure project goals are met
- Interact with clients in a professional, courteous manner – with a service attitude.
Painting Lead Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional painting experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Current driver’s license
Position 2 – Project Foreman
As a job foreman, you’ll oversee one or multiple painting projects, making sure each project is scheduled correctly, all work is performed to Sapphire’s standards and that clients are extremely satisfied.
Project Foreman Duties
- Manage one or more painting crews on assigned projects
- Manage daily project workflow – making sure jobs are on-track
- Communicate with homeowner proactively – keeping them in the loop
- Ensure all work meets Sapphire Coatings’ standards
- Communicate regularly with Painting Lead and Painters as needed
- Serve as primary on-site contact for Sapphire Coatings and the homeowner
- Schedule projects with realistic time-frames that Sapphire can commit to
- Ensure projects remain on-time and on-budget
- Monitor productivity and adjust staff as needed
- Resolve customer concerns with integrity and a ‘customer-first’ attitude
- Train and mentor painting leads and painters as needed
- Plan material and other costs
- Answer customer questions as needed
- Promote Sapphire Coatings culture of positive leadership and excellent service
- Fill-in other painting roles if crew members don’t show
Job Foreman Requirements:
- At least 2 years of painting experience
- At leas 2 years of painting lead experience
- Ability to manage multiple crews on multiple job sites
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
