Mississippi State Hospital will be accepting resumes until noon, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, for the purpose of hiring up to five (5) food service workers to work on our Jaquith Nursing Home with the following minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED and 1 year of food service experience. The candidate shall have the knowledge or ability to be trained to correctly perform Pantry/Food Services duties. Contracts will begin on or around August 10, 2026, and end June 30, 2027, at a rate of $15 per hour. Chosen applicants will work up to 40 hours per week with shift opportunities 7 days a week between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Resumes, along with proof of education and 3 signed reference letters can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Personnel Department, 3550 Hwy. 468 West, Whitfield, MS 39193.
