Part-time Infant/Toddler Teacher (Afternoons) Jobs in Indianapolis at Gifted & Talented Academy
Do you love caring for babies and toddlers and believe the early years truly matter?
Gifted & Talented Academy North is looking for 1–2 dependable part-time teachers to support our infant and toddler classrooms each afternoon.
You’ll step into classrooms led by experienced morning teachers who have already created a strong foundation of love, learning, and structure. Your role is to continue that care throughout the afternoon and help close the classroom strong each day.

Typical Schedule
Part-time afternoon hours (approximately 1:30/2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday).
What You’ll Do
- Provide warm, attentive care for infants and toddlers
- Follow the daily schedule and lesson plan prepared by the lead teacher
- Help maintain a calm, structured classroom environment
- Support diapering, feeding, and transitions throughout the afternoon
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates
- Clean, sanitize, and reset the classroom at the end of the day

- Experienced in childcare (preferred but not required)

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
