Responsibilities:
As a Counter Sales Associate, you’ll be at the heart of our customer interactions, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
– Answering phones and providing friendly assistance to customers.
– Greeting customers with a smile and helping them find the right auto parts.
– Placing and filling orders accurately and in a timely manner.
– Performing detailed, repetitive tasks daily with precision.
– Completing assigned tasks independently, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
– Maintaining a safe, positive, and harassment-free work environment.
– Exemplifying excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
– Willingly taking on additional duties as assigned by management.
– Assisting with deliveries when need.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
– Prior automotive background or knowledge, ASE Certification is a plus
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
– Basic math skills for transaction processing.
– A desire to be cross-trained in all areas of the operation.
– Flexibility for duty and position reassignments as needed by management.
– Must have a valid driver license
Physical Requirements:
We believe in working hard but having fun doing it. Physical requirements for the position include:
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 75 lbs (hey, those parts can be heavy!).
– Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs to stock and pull parts for the entire shift.
– Handling repetitive tasks with precision while maintaining a positive attitude.
Compensation:
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $17 – $19/hr (depending on experience)
Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, no night shifts and employee discounts.
