We’re searching for an excellent patient care coordinator/administrative medical assistant to join our team at Kinetic Foot and Ankle clinic. Our ideal candidate is a reliable, professional and self-motivated individual with a passion for building and maintaining positive patient relationships with new and existing patients. This individual enjoys collaborating with the office team and shares our commitment for patient care. We are looking for someone with prior front office and patient care experience that would enjoy being an asset to our amazing team!
Skills and Responsibilities:
· Oversee practice systems, processes and manage incoming patient inquiries, check-in patients, check-out patients, ensure co-pays and outstanding balances are collected at time of services.
· Maintain a positive attitude and warm personality to ensure practice standards for excellent customer service and practice efficiency.
· Provide support and achieve business goals, revenue, and profitability objectives through a respectful, forward thinking, and motivational style.
· Present treatment plans and financing options to patients as needed.
· Ensures schedule is optimized for productivity.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to change tasks quickly and be flexible in workflow as required.
· Medical terminology familiar required, proficient preferred.
· Spanish fluency preferred.
Required Qualifications:
· Experience with EMR/PM software
· Experience answering phones professionally and booking patient appointments
· Must be familiar with Health Insurance in addition to obtaining insurance estimates and patient insurance verifications
· Must be well-organized, professional and proficient in management of workflow.
· Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Must be able to build relationships with clinical providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and responding to patient, clinical, and operational concerns timely and effectively
· Process telephone messages.
· Maintain clean and stocked work area, exam room, supplies, and forms/handouts.
· Perform basic triage per office protocol, and similarly, be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situation per protocols.
· Be professional in both conduct and dress.
· Establish and maintain effective work relationships with other staff members, physician, and contacts at other offices as needed.
· Document and record work as required.
Experience: 1 year experience in an medical office environment preferred.

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
