Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move around safely within their environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Support clients with medication management and reminders as per care plans.
- Engage clients in social activities and exercises to promote physical and mental health.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and the ability to recognize changes in health status.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Ability to work effectively in various settings, such as private homes.
- Must be able to pass background checks and comply with all health regulations related to caregiving roles.
