Personal Lines Sales Agent

The Personal Lines Sales Agent is responsible for driving new business growth by closing inbound leads, closing new accounts, and building strong client relationships while maintaining the agency’s professionalism and reputation.

Core Expectation

This is a production-driven sales role. Success is measured by consistent new business policies, closing ratios, and revenue growth.

The agent is expected to take full ownership of their pipeline, activity, and results.

Work Schedule & Accountability (Non-Negotiable)

Work hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday CST

Must be on time and ready to produce at 9:00 AM

Must be actively selling and following up throughout the entire day

This is a full-time, high-activity role, not a passive or part-time position

Daily activity and production are required—not optional

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue qualified prospects from agency generated inbound leads

Gather client information and prepare accurate proposals

Close new business and complete required documentation

Work with service team on renewals, rewrites, and account changes

Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients

Cross-sell and round out accounts when possible

Maintain licensing and continuing education requirements

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth account servicing

Sales Activity Expectations

Daily follow ups and outreach (calls, follow-ups, outreach)

Consistent pipeline management

Regular request for referrals from current clients

Performance Standards

Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual production goals

Maintaining a consistent flow of new business

High level of activity (calls, quotes, closes)

Strong close ratio and revenue generation

Accurate and timely handling of all sales documentation

Professional and responsive communication with clients and carriers

Pay: $35,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
