We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Canvassers/Petition Circulators. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering signatures on our petition for a candidate to run for office.
Full-time Pay starts at $25/hour
Get over 50 signatures in your daily 7 hr shift $35/daily bonus
(everyone should get this bonus every day if your doing your job correctly)
Get over 75 signatures in your daily 7 hr shift $75/daily bonus
Get over 100 signatures in your daily 7 hr shift $125/daily bonus
(working a longer shift is an option if approved by your manager)
Responsibilities
- Engage with the public to explain the purpose of petitions and encourage signature collection.
- Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to persuade individuals to sign petitions.
- Maintain accurate records of signatures collected and report daily progress to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize impact.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns from the public regarding the petitions.
- Assist in marketing efforts related to petition initiatives, including social media promotion and community events.
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with canvassing techniques and talking to voters is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance outreach effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse audiences.
