Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain movement, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, and ensuring a supportive and encouraging rehabilitation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle modifications for continued recovery.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
