Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a hygienic environment
- Assist with menu planning to create appealing pizza options that meet customer preferences
- Use proper knife skills and food preparation techniques to efficiently assemble ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations, adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Support catering events or special orders with timely and quality meal preparation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or kitchen environments
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Fine dining experience or extensive culinary experience enhances your suitability for this role
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry best practices for food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in catering, serving, or large-scale food service operations is a plus
