Duties
- Develop and execute innovative, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with families to support child welfare, communicate progress, and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring safety, organization, and adherence to childcare standards.
- Incorporate early childhood education best practices with an emphasis on childhood development milestones and classroom management techniques.
- Use assessment tools such as standardized testing and observational methods to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Support toddlers’ care routines and facilitate engaging activities that foster physical development and literacy skills.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to teaching physical education, tutoring strategies, and Montessori techniques to enhance classroom experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, and physical activity.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to early intervention and special education needs.
- Prior experience with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet developmental milestones while fostering creativity and independence.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and child welfare standards within private school or daycare environments.
- Strong organizational skills for managing classroom activities, lesson planning, and documentation of student progress.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional growth is encouraged.
