Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will support our workforce’s well-being, engagement, and satisfaction by providing clear guidance on benefits options, handling inquiries efficiently, and maintaining accurate records. Duties

  • Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness initiatives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions from employees, managers, and external vendors, delivering exceptional customer service with clear communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies related to employee benefits, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and workers’ compensation.
  • Collaborate with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors to maintain accurate benefits data and generate reports for management review.
  • Support change management initiatives by communicating updates to benefits programs effectively across the organization.
  • Assist in the development of employee orientation and onboarding processes related to benefits enrollment and education.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis using Excel or HR analytics tools to identify trends, improve processes, and support strategic planning efforts in talent management.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on benefits administration or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory requirements affecting employee benefits programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or ADP; experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Lever is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefit options clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing systems such as Paychex or Dayforce is advantageous.
  • Experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Pay: $52,627.05 – $63,378.82 per year
